Canine Good Citizen Class

Canine Good Citizen Class helps you prepare to pass the AKC CGC skills test.

The test consists of 10 items:

1: Accepting a friendly stranger
2: Sitting politely for petting
3: Appearance and grooming
4: Out for a walk (walking on a loose lead)
5: Walking through a crowd
6: Sit and down on command and Staying in place
7: Coming when called
8: Reaction to another dog
9: Reaction to distraction
10: Supervised separation

The Canine Good Citizen Test will be given on the last night of class.

As always, our spacious indoor training center is climate controlled so you and your dog can safely work together. Our outdoor training area is beautifully landscaped and includes bleachers. Family and friends are welcome to observe classes.
